The Association of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ACAN) was established in 2034 with a non-profit objective. ACAN believes in promoting knowledge and creating awareness of the changes taking place in the economy by organizing workshops, seminars and talk programs of professional interest to help the professionals and members of this association to be competitive in the business arena. ACAN aims at developing, promoting, protecting the accounting profession, making its members united, and protecting their interest.

Our mission is to support ICAN and the Nepal Government in formulating accounting and auditing standards while advocating for the globalization of accounting concepts and information through discussions in various forums. We are dedicated to organizing workshops, conferences, and seminars in Nepal to disseminate accounting knowledge effectively. Additionally, we represent the interests of the accounting profession in the country and are committed to protecting our profession. By serving communities through various committees of ACAN, we aim to establish a strong social reputation for our field and maximize value for all members and stakeholders.

The strategic goals of the Association include partnering in nation-building by coordinating with central, provincial, and local governments. We aim to strengthen ACAN by establishing a resourceful office and enhancing workforce competency by ensuring the Secretariat is staffed with qualified individuals. Additionally, we prioritize the professional development of our members through leadership and training programs.
